Every conquest large map besides Firestorm and Caspian seems far too small for 32 vs 32. And those 2 still seem medium-sized by BF2 standards. (And, as mentioned, the space isn't utilized that well.)

Obvious balancing/tweaking with weapons and attachments. (M249, IRNV, taclight, etc...)

Make players glide over insignificant shit on the ground, as opposed to being stopped by bricks and aluminum cans, or curbs...

I've very disappointed there's only 12v12 on consoles. I guess that's what I get for only spending $300 on an xbox as opposed to a thousand for 64 players.

True statement if i've ever heard one about this game.  I wouldn't be upset if the redesigned the maps or just come out with new ones to better suit the consoles.  But, keep everything the same.  The performance on the consoles are not bad given the demand, but I can clearly see ghosting and feel the sluggishness of the game.  But, when you get together with friends and blow some shit up there is no greater feeling.

I'm a bit annoyed that there is no Russian voice over.
I can hear them speaking Russian, when they're my enemies, but not when I'm playing them.

Furthermore, I'm really missing the commo-rose on-screen text.
Really, I barely hear myself yelling for ammo amidst all the noise, and I frankly can't remember if I have ever heard anyone else using one of the commands.
If there were text output of those, it would be much easier.

The commo-rose in it self is completely useless.
It is painfully obvious that the developers sole reason for putting it in the game was to silence the crying fanboys that weeped for the entire beta because isn't the game.

Why is it useless?
1) The things you ask for don't appear in the chat
2) They don't say it loud enough (this wouldn't be a problem, were it not for point 1)
3) And this one makes 1 and 2 obsolete. The options on there are useless anyway. You cant ask for ammo or a medic. Who the fuck uses the commo-rose to say sorry (which the other players probably wont notice due to point 1 and 2) or spam go, go, go?

All they have to is make it appear in chat and add some actual useful options to it.

True, but with the way the chat box is at the minute, if the commo rose stuff showed up in there you would be playing with virtually a third of your view obscured by the bloody chat box...

@Finray yeah they're just really quiet.

Has someone actually confirmed that those commo-rose commands are heard by others at all?

The cars have no horns in BF3 and they were client side only (before a patch) in BC2, so DICE are actually known for making redundant, non-working stuff.

On some of the larger BF2 maps I had a sense of being in a massive play space. In BF3 the scope of sensation feels very narrow.
i agree. in bf2 the size of the maps worked with how much work you were willing to put in. even on big maps i could manage to cap most if not all of the flags myself, and because they were so far apart you had time to do it. now i run and cap a flag and by the time i'm on the next flag the enemy is already recapturing the first one. it feels very COD like now. small areas and who draws fastest wins.
