fuck you stimey wont even pay for hundreds of hours of entertainment
Actually I will.
Any game I've actually liked when I pirated I've payed for within 3 months of it coming out.
Not to mention the fact it isn't actually out for another 12 hours here.

"people in ny have a general idea of how to drive. one of the pedals goes forward the other one prevents you from dying"
Impressed thus far
What's confusing is I think I remember Uzique saying that WoW wasn't really that expensive. It isn't, so how could a single player RPG be a poor man's MMO? The Collector's Edition for ESV is like $150 or something.Spearhead wrote:

Are free MMO's also poor men's MMO's? What if you played them when they weren't free, do they become poor men's MMO's?
UI is atrocious and graphic fidelity is average but nonetheless the world is engaging to explore and it looks decent most of the time thanks to good use of mists/lighting. I am also very happy to see a return of the Roman Empire-esque Imperial Legion rather than whatever the fuck they were in Oblivion. Also, Col. Tigh voicing an imperial commander (who seems to be important) at the start
It also is pretty stable and runs well (as it should for what it looks like/the engine's age). I have played for 5 hours or so and it hasnt crashed.

True, but this one is the worst by far. Takes a stupid amount of clicking and scrolling to get anywhere.
This is the skills screen for fuck sake: http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/59470 … CD22BDFD0/
and magic screen:

Useless graphics take up most of the screen forcing you to scroll around to actually read information/select things.
That is really the only big negative so far, I have been enjoying it.

Actually looks quite good in some spots, more due to art direction/style than anything else.

Whoever designed this UI needs to be banned from ever doing anything at all that could possibly impact the development of any video ever.

Skyrim here I come
Great game so far.
I've been playing pretty much since I made that post all the way up there^^
No complaints really, I'm just having a bit of a tough time tracking down good quests/quest lines, but I think its pretty minor considering I've only really made it to the first real tow so far.
Gets a 92/100 for me. Phenomenal. Can't wait till mods come out.

Actually yea my one complaint IS the UI.
I can't even click on some shit when I open the tab screen, have to use WASD/Arrow Keys.
Obviously designed for consoles without so much as a second glance at the PC side.
Oh well, it'll be modded out.

cut off your legs. less body mass, less caloric need. less time eating. more time for dragons and batman.Poseidon wrote:

i can't remap the keypad. this game is racist against left handicapable people.
Are injuries permanent in this game? This arrow remained firmly lodged in my head for days before I decided to make a new character because "lol skillpoints"
Is there any reason to go with light armor over heavy since there are abilities that remove all negative effects from heavy armor ?
