I feel Firestorm is the only real BF style map. It's just barely large enough to accommodate that type of game play, and all the vehicles. Every single map is the typical clustered caps with wide open space surrounding it, typical BC garbage. They better map the Karkand expansion meter for meter as it was in BF2. Assuming they do, that's pretty much all I'll be playing is Wake Island and the Shark Pen with some Karkand every so often. I do welcome the darker feel of the concept art for Wake, I hope they go forth on that vision.
I wanna change my vote to Kharg Island, been playing that one a lot lately. Flags aren't linearly placed, nor are they too close to each other. There's tons of vehicles, and every single kind of vehicle is on it.
I'd say caspian , I get the most "battlefield" feel on that one , first of all it's GREEN and beautiful , awsome sniping , not too large and not too small nor linear, but I feel there's no terrain in any of the conquest maps , like for example kubra or fu she in bf2 , where you as inf could run around everywhere exept the flagzones and not get raped by airvehicles .

They are very different on rush and conquest, some maps are great on conquest and simply awful on rush and vice versa. I would say Canals and Metro(lol) are my favourites. Metro is bad but it's leagues ahead of some of the others.

Seine Crossing for me, pretty sweet map on all game modes.
Seine is solid, kharg and canals are awesome too.
My fav for infantry is seine, for air its kharg and for helis its canals. Firestorm is awesome too, it suits battlefield well.
