I think it's going to be Skyrim hands down. Seems to have the most expansive world, seems to be the most overhauled, is probably the most anticipated and generally looks like it's the one that will last people the longest. Arkham City, Uncharted 3 and BF3 will come close but IMO Skyrim will win out. The work Bethesda puts into the ES games is unbelievable.
I think a dark horse might be AC: Revelations but just standing it up against Skyrim doesn't seem to give it any chance.

I dont know, Skyrim is likely to be a giant buggy mess like the other games have been. I mean I love the series but quality control is not and has never been Bethesda's strong point - see basically any game they have published. Still kinda on the fence about Oblivion getting so many accolades as well, it needed a lot of modding to fix some of the stupid decisions and make it not strictly worse than Morrowind but with prettier graphics.

I don't really think Oblivion deserved all the acclaim it got either, especially since so many people felt they had to mod it to make it playable. The main quests didn't have nearly as much pull as the side quests, and had no sense of urgency or impending doom. The leveling and difficulty system was wonky. You could stay "awake" as long as you wanted and build up pretty powerful stats as you quest without the game adding more difficult mobs.
It panders to the average, casual player. Ask a high school kid who only games on his console what his favorite game series is and you'll more than likely hear CoD.TimmmmaaaaH wrote:
