think it was last year or the year before the UK entry got 0 points, many believe it was because of the war in iraq. although it was probably because they song and singer was crap.
the contest is on just now, and for you people who dont know what it is then i will tell you. it is a song contest with one entry from most of the countrys in the EU and more. the singers/groups are not supposed to be professionals and have been selected to enter. then each country who has a contestant in the competition then gets to give points to their favorite acts.
really though the whole competition is just a bit of a joke and dont think anyone really cares who wins. the UK act this year though really sucks.
