Honestly rather not play it than pirate it. I'm not that desperate for ten bucks.
I´m really tempted though. There still is some of that "duke nukem foversis actually there" flavor left, and for 10 bucks I might get enough amusement out of it. I´m a wait till tommorrow though, when im a bit more clear headed. From everything I´ve read and seen so far, even ten bucks seem to be a bit stiff for the huge shitfest the game actually is. I dunno.

Anyone else have Chaos Theory/the Splinter Cell pack and have this? The icon never appears and it keeps trying to download even after I tell it not to and delete all the local content.

It's because of a bug in the latest steam update, valve hasn't fixed it yet despite a week passing...
Tons of people have it... It shows a duplicate of a game you already have, but when you select the duplicate you can see on the info page that it's really an entirely different game which you may/may not already own... for me it was Red Alert 3

I started playing Dark Forces today. Man, what a blast. I´m glad gaming moved away from that kind of level design though. Just god aweful. Nevertheless, punching stormtroopers and droids in the face is fantastic
Doom-type level design was great for the period in which those games were made. I'd rather see that kind of design in games with narrow plotlines than have to wander through a sandbox that gives you nothing but extra travel time.Sisco wrote:

I found this here video... It's a pro-league CSS player who made a basic tutorial video giving tips on deathmatch style shooters in general, playing CSS. The video got alot of hate from CoD players just because it wasn't CoD.. He then proceeds to download Black Ops and record his second game of CoD ever and he dominates everything.. Just watch the video, look at the dislike bar and enjoy buttmad CoD kiddos in the comment section
