Robbed of 2 penalties, we defended really well, especially Alex. I think Torres had a good game, we just couldn't get the break through...You can see how Modric wold help our team already.

Not too disappointed, I liked what I saw, he's obviously still experimenting with the team, Ramires looked quite lively too, just nothing worked out today.

So that's 2 PL games I've seen so far and not 1 goal yet lol...

Not gloating just find it's always the same comments when teams come to Stoke and fail to break us down.
Perhaps should have a had a penalty on a couple of occasions (the Torres one right in front of goal was never a pen, he took and air shot missed the ball and then thought he better dive), Stoke also could've had a pen for the handball involving Terry.
Note for future, when the "big" teams play us, we must remember to roll over and die, to avoid accusations of "parking the bus" and irritating rival fans.

i guess the point is to frustrate the other team but parking buses or mourinho planes is annoying... it just seems kinda anti-football or something i guess? personal preference, but i'd rather see my team go for it and not invite pressure

you never know. west brom did well against united today and they weren't picking up any parking fines, but i didn't see the stoke v chelsea game tbf

He took an "air shot" because he was being held back and off balance, Shawcross was practically hugging him. I don't have a problem with how Stoke play, it's very efficient and it gets points, but hardly endearing to the "neutral" considering you probably spent about 90% of that 2nd half camping your box and occasionally launching a long ball over the half way line, but hey there is no reason to care what other fans think like you say, good for Stoke they will probably be in the PL for a very long time. At the end of the day we had 90 minutes to score and couldn't do it, we should have had at least 1 pen in my opinion but we shouldn't be relying on the ref for a goal so...
