As suggested, quoting a post with images will now cause all of the images to move into a gal tag right where the first image used to be.
While pulling the images all up into one gal tag can cause some odd looking situations, it was better than a gal tag for every single img (which looked really silly.)
I might consider other treatments if you've got a better idea (perhaps the gal tag at end/beginning of quote, plus text references where images used to be? Something like that...)
