The new shield makes you take more damage than the old shield, the sword prevents you from picking up any ammo for your guns which means after a short time you'll be severely handicapped (meaning people won't use it outside of Demoknight situations), and the boots replace the
Grenade Launcher. If you equip all 3 you have no weapon except a sword, and you die faster than a normal Demoknight due to taking more damage from explosives and fire.
At first glance they all look horribly OP due to the lack of expressly stated downsides, but there are definitely big downsides.
I think it's interesting how the weapons will work when combined with all the others.
As for the Scout pack, I don't know what to think really. Is that literally the same as the FaN aside from the built in crit-a-cola and lack of normal crits? Why not just use the FaN and Crit-a-Cola? Edit: Duh it deals no knockback.
Also, what does 'Third jump deals 10 damage' mean? I assumed it meant the Scout would take the damage himself as a penalty for the third jump, but it's written in blue not red.
