Ahh, pretty sure if I were in the military I wouldn't want them just "taking anyone". You'd want people you can rely upon to watch your back.War Man wrote:

Speaking of jobs, I'll be heading down to the Army recruiters today. I'm aiming for any of these:
1- Artillery
2- Signal Corp
3- Army Space and Missile Defense Command
4- Military Intelligence-Satellite Imagery
Try getting a job at McDonalds.
Well I got back from the recruiters earlier this afternoon and the Sgt. there told me my eyesight was fine for the jobs I've selected. So sometime next week I'll go down again with my school transcripts (I'm homeschooled) and my diploma so he can sign me up and send me down to LA for the MEPS and ASVAB.War Man wrote:

I scored 74% on the practice on the recruiters give you. They said the average was much lower and that most people score higher on the real ASVAB.

be a grunt. its good fun.
Nah, I really like satellite imagery, that sounds really interesting. It's like a treasure hunt If you want to look at it that way (totally simplified, haha)
It's really cool how they used satellite imagery of Osama's compound while it was under construction to get the layout. That would have been awesome to have participated in.

Then it'd be easier for me to get in the army if that was the case.Cybargs wrote:

The best tests were the flight crew tests, crazy coordination, memory and multitasking exercises. You probably didn't do those though?Cybargs wrote:

As for the family thing, I'm not sure it helps. They certainly didn't mention any of my family members in the military (2 Cousins who are CMDRs, grandfathers were a SQNLDR and LCDR) but that doesn't mean they didn't take it into account I guess. There are a large number of cadets at ADFA that are the sons/daughters of Colonels(e)/Generals(e)/Senators but of course they are the people more likely to be interested in becoming officers I guess.
So yeah, frostbite. Quite the catch, ain´t it?
I did some crazy coordination test on my YOU session... that shit was annoying and had some flight planning questions for some reason lol.Little BaBy JESUS wrote:

We're way off topic.
What does everybody think of the knifing? Looks like it can be countered.

I think they must have knife training in the army.
Don't like it. Looks good for single player, but a bit intrusive for multi.-Sh1fty- wrote:
