@theDude5B - Nope, i wouldnt be supporting ireland. whats the point? i have no relation to ireland what so ever, the only relation is my favoured football team. And even at that, i woudnt go as far as to say `relation` just because people abuse the stereotype of Celtic fans supporting ireland because of the irish background
point is that most rangers fans will support england, and most celtic fans will not.dannydee223 wrote:

as i said, most Rangers fans will be supporting the English and most Celtic fans will either be supporting the Irish or not, but never the English. it is just the way it goes. but then again there are many Rangers fans who dont support the English either.
dont think it is a stereotype because it is pretty much fact. you never see a Celtic fan waving about an English flag or a british flag.
but i am not saying that celtic fans are not going to support the scots, same with the rangers fans.
But why is it you think that the rangers fans will support england?where is your base of fact?
Just got -1 for my post
England ain't shut up about the 1966 world cup yet - 40 years ago. To the point where they're now giving away DVD's with newspapers with the match on.
Who cares, half the people who watched the match back then are probably dead. Get over it and move on.

i think that MOST rangers fans will support england, not all of them. fact being that every home match at ibrox there are more england flags than there are scottish flags. the majority of rangers fans probably know the words to god save the queen and not Flower of Scotland, they consider themselves as brittish before they think of themselves as being scottish, they go on holiday with two football tops - rangers and england.dannydee223 wrote:

But remember i am not saying that all rangers fans are like this, but most of the hard core probably are.

@theDude5B ----- I would come to think they were loyalist flags, which impersonate the england flag, but with the hand in the middle.
some of them are but a lot of the are just english flags.ddenholm67 wrote:
