You can run several instances of DG at once, though Steam is probably basing it off of accounts, not instances.

One of my earlier theories about that ARG was, that maybe we'll get both Portal 2 and HL2:Ep3 at once.
Similar to how in the Orange Box, Ep2 turned out to be a bonus for TF2 and Portal, we could now get Ep3 as a bonus to Portal 2.
Maybe it combines and concludes both story lines...

That's how the release meter works. Explains why TWEotW is so high and Killing Floor is so low.

At this rate, I doubt it gets released early. Kind of a fail.

"Hey, spend MORE money to get a game released only a couple of days early!"

What even is that..

I almost have all my Potats done.

I just need AaaaAAaaaA and Audiosurf left, but apparently I missed one D:

cause I should have 2 left + the final golden potato, but it says I need 3 more + final.

any way to figure out which ones haven't been obtained?

The second AaaaAAaaaA is easier than it first looks, you'll die allot at first but once you do make it through, it doesn't take much points to 5-star it. First one is kinda difficult, but once you have down where the Potato structures are, it's not to bad.

Audiosurf is fucking evil, it is completely up to chance how many WCCs you get in each run through of the song. My advice for it however is to only go for orange blocks and WCCs. Blue blocks are fine but only if its certain that you can get a combo with them without fucking up the orange ones.

The thing that opens up the second one for RUSH isn't happening to me, kinda shit.

And I'm still stuck on the first one for BIT.TRIP.

I had to get my buddy to do the first Bit Trip for me after we had an exam. Thing damn near gave me a seizure.
And I had to re-load the Rush level "Key to Success" about 20 times. (apparently that one has a higher rate of GLaDOS appearing.)

Do you guys have any tips for 1 2 3 Kick It. I tried it once or twice and got annoyed and stopped. Now I've completed almost all the others and I'm back to Kick it.

The first one?

Or the other two?

Second two are actually not bad. First one, I dunno I kinda cheated.

Any of them.

Right well 7 to go. 3 in Cogs, 3 in Kick It, and 1 in Bit Trip Beat.

With two titles "completed" in Valve's play-for-an-early-release stunt with Portal 2, GLaDOS says we've only shaved about 90 minutes off the scheduled release of 7 a.m. Tuesday. Several sites calculate that the effort is much further ahead than that. Like, between 16 and 18 hours as of writing.

That means at this pace, everyone's beating their brains out playing indie games all weekend just to get Portal 2 to unlock in the middle of a workday - 3 p.m. Monday on the east coast, noon, on the west.
Suckers.

Kotaku are dumb, and fail math.

Proper calculations but the unlock time at around 1:40 AM Monday EST, and the date has been getting progressively sooner as more people spend more time. So at the current rate of increase, it will release sometime on Sunday.

I'd still never spend extra money just to play a game a day early. It's absolutely retarded.

Yeah, its not like the pack has actual other games in it or anything!

I've also seen community projections that put the waiting a lot less than what the website currently shows.

Aww, those! What a nuisance.
I thought I could just open my wallet, but no...

Stimey wrote:

I got 13.
Only did the simple ones and those where I could take shortcuts.
For several of the games I would need to spend quite some hours to get good at, I supposed.
And for example making it to world 4 in Super Meatboy would probably make me suicide, so I'm not even bothering.

I wonder if those potato achievements will stay and be obtainable after Portal 2's release.

One of them definitely said 'temporary' somewhere in the update notes or on their website.

But I don't know. It seems like a lot of effort for temporary content.

I just read through the Lab Rat comic. I can´t remember Chell being unconscious at the end of Portal 1?
