I'm not saying Pittsburgh is bad. I just think GB is miles better. And that's the thing about Rodgers - he's so accurate, it's literally impossible to be able to cover every single receiver. The Pittsburgh secondary better not just be on their A game, but be prepared for the most difficult game they've ever played. Also, Pouncey is out for the Steelers. He is a huuuuge part of their O-Line with a GB DE/DT line that could make Herschel Walker cry.Kmar wrote:
The Steelers D is ranked #2 against the pass, #1 against the run, and #1 in total yards allowed.
Pitt is #4 and GB is #1 defensively if you go by points per game.
Pitt is #4 and GB #1 in total sacks post season.
I don't think you can ask for much more when it comes to a matchup.
I also don't think Rodgers is going to have time to sit back and pick out receivers. Not when facing guys like LaMarr Woodley.
The edge is going to go to whoever brings their A game on that particular Sunday. .. and oh yea, Roethlisberger is clutch. Experience.
You should also give your QB a little more credit. Halfway descent doesn't get you to the divisional playoffs.
As for Sanchez, well... he showed flashes of what's to come (weeks 2, 3, 4, texans game, pittsburgh game in regular season, divisional game vs. the patriots) but in general the passing game wasn't really that great. The Jets are a running and D based team. Have been for a while now. I do think he WILL be an elite QB, just not yet.
