Looks like Johnson has been brushing up on his football skills
I heard somewhere that in the fourth or fifth test England won the toss and said "You can bat."
Someone replied "No we can't mate, have you been watching the game?"

GG pommies.
That was a great bit of footwork, Ive seen him do it before. When booted usually the ball dosent get off the ground, skills Mitch.Little BaBy JESUS wrote:

He kicks to the left, he kicks to the right .....
Bloody top work Marsh, and Douggie you sneaky bastard
It's weird how batsmen who do well in tests (and T20) seem to fail so miserably in an ODI. Australia still know how to do this form of the game. The World Cup is going to be interesting, I wouldn't rule out Australia but I'd say India and South Africa are clear favourites. Australia, Sri Lanka and maybe England could be seen as wildcards.
Aussies are still number 1 for ODI so I wouldn't leave them completely out of the picture.
I really only find test cricket interesting these days, 20/20 is OK but I wish the 50 over form of the game would die a slow death.
I know fucking karate
SL are reaaallly strong. Not as strong as they would be had they picked Vaas and Randiv (why they left him out is beyond me), but they have some very clever bowlers and an amazing top order.Mekstizzle wrote:

SA need to learn the Heimlich maneuver before I'll count them in with a chance. And India can't afford to let 80+ runs go in the last 5 overs if they want to win.

See what I mean by the only thing that really matters is the Ashes.
Well, congrats to Australia for winning the ODI series, all England have left to play for now is pride, and try and spend some time in the middle. Not even I would swing my tits off in such a stupid way as the top 8 did yesterday. They did know it wasnt a 20-20 didnt they?

that surely must be where punter is going wrong, spending his entire time in varying degrees of grumpyness/glumness1927 wrote:

Thats a hell of a result for you I think. As you say a great score by us but you go and beat it, hats off to you. Micheal Clarke is growing on me by each day, no I dont wanna bone him. I just think he's a top bloke, Im not a Strayer arse licker I cant even stand the sight of Steve Smith, id love to cunt him in the bastard, based on looks only.
333 is a mammoth score. Biggest England has ever got in Australia for a ODI I believe. For us to run that down is incredible.
And Clarke seems to be finding that form again. Only taken him about 6 months lol.

Well I dont tend to judge people by how they play, more to do with how the speak about victory and defeat. He comes across as a very honest man somebody I think can make Strayer proud of cricket again. Hopefully you wont dominate everyone else like Ricky did, or at least his sides. Surley its time to hand the reigns over and let this fella captain the test team and ODI's? Not that Cameron White does much wrong, I just think you have a hero in the making, and someone who conducts himself infront of the cameras very well.
Strauss is (imo) exactly the same.

Was just brilliant to watch. Nice to see some great strokes and sensible batting by Clarke/Hussey, and then the tension of having the bowlers swinging wildly
Said this for years but no one believes me1927 wrote:

White is good too (I prefer Clarke tactically, personally. More crazy), but he's forgotten how to bat in a mental sense.
Brilliant move by clarke to put Johnson at 4 too.

Johnson was at 4?? I only caught the last few overs after I got home from work. That's an interesting move.
I fucking hate him unall
Good game, not sure why Andersen bowled so much.
Fuck Israel

Drop Ponting. Out of form, useless, old and now injured.
NO PLEASE
think ponting is fast coming to his end and i'm a bit of a clarke fanboy but for that reason - he shouldn't go. the experience etc. he brings to the team is utterly invaluable.
I don't think Clarke should be captain of the test side now
He's not ready yet. He still has to learn to be a bit more patient at test level, his hectic, insane style works beautifully at one-day level but it can get confusing at the top.
Plus, one'd like Clarke to hit his best first. Although yesterday was very very close. Almost freakish timing off his body and legs.

Prior, you dolt

4 "proper" bowlers so no choice, really. He was proper rubbish though, his 2 PP overs basically gave us the game on a plate.Good game, not sure why Andersen bowled so much.
