£800 for a self-assembled PC is just about as much as i have ever spent, considering it would retail at £1k+

anything more than that and you're really shooting yourself in the foot with the price:performance and inevitable aging-costs

it was just a waste of money. pc gaming isn't going anywhere.

Hey, look at it this way, that's you not needing a PC for a good 3-4 years, and after that, well judging by the games of today compared to that of the bygone era, you won't even need a PC.

Having said that, you made the right decision, my mbp struggles with tf2, starcraft and obviously won't play bc2.

Fine with css, apart from the disgusting way OSX handles mouse input.
