BF2S Forums How do you get the M1 in "veteran" mode or whatever?

You essentially have to link your BF2 account to your EA account.  Once you have selected both BF2 and BC2, your new weapons/unlocks should show up in-game.

Ok, it's asking me for a classic EA screen name?

Would that be one of the accounts I can choose when I login to fileplanet or gamespy?

This fucking veteran thing is so broken. I've spent 20 minutes putting in all possible combinations of my email, usernames and password combos that I know worked for BF2, 2142 and Gamespy.

It's a fucking terrible system, it seems.

It probably took 3-4 days for it to show up on mine.  I just randomly thought to make a new BF2 account to try that and when I went in to do it my BF2 and 2142 were magically there.   Now both my 1942 and Vietnam said the key was already in use which is bull but hey I only needed on to get the M1.
