Anyone over here ever tried to make one? Hard as duck or easy as peasy?

I found some tutorial vids on youtube and instructions after googling. You reckon these are the best place to start?
It's a pain in the ass, but yeah. Go with video tutorials. The one that came with my copy of UT2k4 really got me going in UED.
