I got 1-6 hardcovers (issues 1-72) I read them in a day each, didnt put them down and I never really read comics either. Have they introduced Michonne yet? She's such a hardass, Tyrese is bad ass too.JahManRed wrote:

Wow, I didn't know they allowed that much violence on cable TV... it's incredible so far. Love the "dead flowers" metaphor.
Was excellent. Easily better than most zombie movies... I look forward to seeing how well the rest of the series goes.

lots of action but the story line made it boring
It definitely created it's own identity pretty early on. The hospital scene was an obvious 28 days later reference and I felt like it wasn't going to go anywhere that we hadn't seen before, but it really does. The part with the black guy crying about his wife and not being able to shoot her was really powerful. Same with the girl with no legs that Rick goes back to find. That was the first time in ANY zombie movie/game/TV show I've actually felt bad for the zombie.OmniDeath wrote:

It's VERY deep. Especially for a show about... well, zombies. But that's AMC for you. Home of Mad Men and Breaking Bad... two of the best shows of the past 20 years.
