Having high prices is something of a consolation, but I'm still just not happy with this update. TF2 started irking me in certain aspects when the sniper & spy pack came out and it's really only gotten worse since.

That's 1 out of Valve's "3 big surprises" out of the way according to PC Gamer.

Also, 'The Rocket Jumper' sounds like a fun pointless addition. It's not listed on any of the update pages but it's in there somewhere.

@Uzique: They're not all TF2 related. Just Valve in general. I worry a bit about what they'll be as well because of the way Gabe compared it to the L4D2 'surprise'.

I miss tf2 before the medic update. I kind of find this shit hard to believe paying for shit items. Maybe if you could get it from in game credits or something. I was happy with tf2 before the stupid jarate and razor back bollocks. Everything had a perfect counter.

Well my main problem with this update is going to be fixed. The fact that the 'set hats' were needed for the set bonus and the fact that the only way to get them within the next 5 years was to buy them.

Thanks for the feedback, Max. We recognize this is an issue, so we're going to add a new crafting blueprint that specifically crafts item set hats.

I reckon it's going to be a hell of an expensive craft though. Seeing as how each of the weapons costs 1 Weapon + 1 Reclaimed Metal. And that a class specific hat is 4 refined. So a specific specific brand new £15.99 hat must cost a looooooot of metal.
