I dont fully comprehend the Squad Member Pin. The description reads:

"In a round, obtain one attack and one defend order"

This makes no sense to me because you can't attack and defend in the same round. Now somebody gets to post and answer and make me feel stupid

Attack Order: Capturing a point from the enemy that your SL has ordered.

Defense Order: Have a flag you own go neutral then recapture it before it falls to the enemy.

In the same round to get the pin.

How the hell do you fire the Tank Machine gun? Not the gun the the other person riding with can fire. THE PILOTS Machine gun... the one RIGHT next to the Tank's Cannon?

You need to select the ALT-W perk first.

I'm quite sure that your veteran status is tied to your whole EA account, i.e. the e-mail address registered with that.
After all, you use that very same account for registering all the older games (except the console ones).

1. What is the best map and game mode to obtain the m-com destruction pin?

2. When aproaching a stationary enemy tank as an engineer, where should I throw mines at or under it to maximize my chances of destroying it when it moves?

3. Does BF2s have any Bad Company 2 servers running?

I'd say the best map to get the mcom pin is probably white pass, since you can just destroy the buildings they are in most of the time.

I think Valaparisio. There's 10 M-com stations to blow up. Those rounds usually last long enough if the attacking team is good.

Or Atacama Desert, there's 8 M-com stations to go for.

Laguna Presa have 10 M-com stations too, but that's a hard map playing rush. That's my opinion.

I'm not sure if you can buy the game without steam... but if you buy it on steam it works like any other steam game

You can buy it without Steam, and it has its own dedicated patcher on launch.
