i can't get my wrists to hinge when my hands are separate.
I use a 10-finger grip, sometimes hold the club in the palm of my hands (baseball grip) which generates more power....
....for me.
....for me.

For all of the .000000000000000000001% of my life I spent playing golf, I use linked fingers because it's what my grandpa (who only played golf for business) drilled into my brain.Airwolf wrote:
Also do you guys use the linked fingers method for holding the club? I used to but now I feel more comfortable with both hands separate.
Why not? I've never understood 'golf clothes' anyway.ig wrote:

I hit every par 4/5's fairway which putt me at 7-7 on Tuesday I don't count par 3's. I started swinging the driver slower and sure I loose tons of distance but I'd rather be 260 in the fairway than 20 yards right/left at 275 yards ish.
playing golf tomorrow again I'M VERY EXCITE.
Playing with noobs though. But its cool, I'm all about some company around a course.

Mess up on a couple holes on purpose then say hey, "lets play for some $$$" and then play for real and take there $$$Airwolf wrote:

Nice
Saw one of those TaylorMade Tour Burner driver's today. Only £100
Was so tempted to get it, don't have £100 though. Such a bargain
Also went golfing with mates that hadn't played in like a year. They both took shitty tee shots off the 1st, and I stepped up wtih my 3W and belted it 280 yards straight down the middle. Their faces when I turned round were priceless. They were like "you can actually play?!"
Damn straight

My new boss used to be a pr0, and he looks so young. He says he's gonna take me out and give me some lessons around his local clubs
jenspm's a lucky prick, amirite?

Am now a member of the St. Andrews Links Trust, and can play all the courses whenever I want, free of charge
played my first round at the New Course today. Shot a 93, which I was pretty happy with considering the fact that I hit a grand total of three fairways and had a few awful puts. Doesn't matter though, the course was beautiful, as were my irons

Been really addicted to the course lately, been playing 18 at least 4 times a week, getting pretty good too ! Got my handicap down to a 10, if I can just get better with my 60 degree around the greens, I reckon I could get it down to a 6/7.
Jens you lucky twat.
