Does the game scale in difficulty to more players?

Played with two mates and one of them almost always died early on after friendly firing us to about half health. So i'm wondering if it the game is more difficult this way or if it doesn't matter that he dies early?

Otherwise i'm liking it. It's been ages since i played this as a ut2k4 mod. Now to wait for more campaigns either official or custom.

Well, floppy sent me an invite last night, but i declined as I felt like I should probably practice a bit before putting other player's "lives" at risk...lol. Good thing, cuz I lost our medic fairly early on and we all got ambushed in a hallway as we just about simultaneously ran out of ammo...lmao. It's fun though. I think I will practice some more.

there are parallels. Do they matter? No.

Saying that Alien Swarm is like TF2 because it has classes is ridiculous. Why don't you compare it to virtually every other shooter game.

Wait a second, 4 player co-op survival? Left 4 Dead is the only other game ever to do that! Call the Plagiarism Police!

the more and more i think about it... the more parallels i see between alien swarm and WORLD OF WARCRAFT

they both have classes... you have to party-up to kill fantastical monsters... team-work and cooperation is key, often with voice-communication... your specific kit-loadout and inventory is very important... you LEVEL UP... as you LEVEL UP you get more and more powerful gear that can kill harder enemies easier... you eventually unlock 'heroic' insane difficulty modes... there are healers... there are heavy-weapon tanks... there are high-dps snipers ala rogues... there are staged-boss fights that are focal points of the game-experience... they will keep on adding on additional content in the forms of more 'expansion pack' DLC...

WHAT THE FUCK WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST CALL IT WORLD OF ALIENCRAFT?!? SO MANY PARALLELS I AM GOING BLIIIIIND

also, PONG called. they want their mouse-based control system back, valve, you fucking PLAGIARIST CROOKS!
