Someday I wish to buy an expensive guitar in the 4 digit price range. I would realy like a PRS.Jaekus wrote:

I'm jealous of your Ibanez and Les Paul.
I wish I could afford a Schecter or Les Paul... would motivate me to learn something.
The ibanez cost over $800. But yea, get a Schecter C7 or a Hellraiser
If I could introduce this thread to some class...
I jest, lots of fantastic looking guitars in these parts, I just don't play them myself. This thing, however, has served my high school jazz career very well. I probably won't do anything too serious with it in college, tech schools being what they are and all, but I plan on taking it and seeing what happens.

Sax is one of the many instruments I wish I could play. Such a cool cool instrument!
I've pretty much given up with my guitars nowadays. Play more of my dad's bass than my guitars. Here's where I do pretty much all of my music though..:

Is that a tennor? I have an alto, can't play it tho, lol. Bought it for my ex GF then when we split I kept it. Polish guy plays in our band plays the tennor and the other straightish sax? and flute. He is abit of a wiz.Defiance wrote:

A sax is the instrument of sex.
Mine is an alto. Besides their size, the shapes of the neck are usually indicative. This might help.JahManRed wrote:

I shall be putting the order in for one of these @ tonefactor.com as soon as they have them in stock, which should be a matter of days if not a couple weeks - brand new from Tech 21, I bring you the SansAmp VT Deluxe

Ibanez SR-405 with EMG P-bass/J-bass combo pickups (they come housed in humbucker cases)
Alverez 6 string from around 1980
I don't really play much anymore, I had a nice full stack (4x10 and 1x 15) bass amp and a boss gt6-b board when I played out all the time but sold it due to lack of use.
This is what I've been wanting for a while though.

That Tele is a reissue, yeah?
Uzi, what style of music do you play?
no the tele isn't a reissue... i think you can only get those from mexico.
at the moment i use that set-up for playing shoegaze/ambient/drone stuff... as well as post-rockish type stuff with uni friends. lots of solo stuff and electronic wizardry- making noise as well as playing it as a stringed instrument. ive got a bunch of other guitars that i (used to) use for playing metal and instrument-solo wankery... but i got bored of that.

Oh, I just thought it had to be considering the fingerprint protector sheet and the Fender box it's on top of.
they're both google-images results...
don't have a digital camera / can't be assed to photograph actual collection.

I wasnt in the possition to do it last time you tried ATG. Got my kit set up and have my studio set up too. So I could do the drums this time.ATG wrote:

Funny, I'm eyeing nearly the same setup for myself. It'll most likely be a '72 thinline through an AC15 though. I played the telecaster not expecting to like it at all but it ended up my favorite guitar in the store.Uzique wrote:

telecasters are probably some of my favourite guitars, too... as well as the jaguar/jazzmasters...
