Judging by the picture I would take a guess that another trade off would be the sentry can't get up to level 3, but that's just speculating

As I said when i fucking posted it, they wouldn't have used a lvl2 sentry as the moveable one for nothing, it is clearly the tradeoff that you cannot upgrade it to level 3Kez wrote:

There is so much crying right now. Honestly what does it matter if some guys got golden wrenches illicitly? I have never seen a golden wrench, will never get one, and don't care about them to begin with. The wrenches have caused so much distraction from the actual content of this update. Ultimately it all comes down to the unlocks and maps, but people really do seem to care more about hats and other gimmicks.
guy in my server had a golden wrench last night... every engineer wrench-action (desapping, killing etc.) shows up with a golden-wrench icon. people were crying about it in the server, but i really don't know why. it's such a pointless cosmetic difference. people in tf2 are used to the casual-culture i guess and don't like the feeling of not being able to have everything in the game.

He's clearly using the standard wrench in that mobile sentry pic so its probably a new passive ability rather than the wrench unlock.
