Okay, so I read the thread about Skill Level statistic, but what is "Level?" Is this stat related to Skill Level or unrelated? What does it mean?

Good question. AFAIK it's just a random number. I haven't found anything that it correlates too. At first I thought it was tied to skill level somehow, but then i found someone with a lower skill lever and a higher "level".
It's not tied to medals or gold/platinum stars, or SPM, or even points.
I've been stuck at "lvl 167" since I hit Rank 50, so who the hell knows.

Once you reach the highest rank(50 of course), there is skill level which increases(or lowers depending if they changed that from BC1 which made 1 the best skill level) if you play well or decreases if you're sucking. How it determines that is how you're doing compared to other people I believe.
The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
well I have a friend who is level 29 and I am level 43, and his "level" has been 55 for a long time and mine is stuck at 0. Everything else stats wise, mine is higher, except for this "level" number. So it is a bit confusing x_x
