A lot of people are complaining about the Vuvuzela, from fans who have to turn the volume on their Tv down because of the buzzing, to people watching the games live, who swear that the stadium is shaking from the noise.

In my opinion, should they ban the Vuvuzela? No

Should they limit it's numbers?

Yes.

Will they probably ban it?

Unlikely, due to the cultural symbol debate.

So, Should the Vuvuzela be banned?

Do the Australians bring there loud obnoxious musical instruments to Football matches?

I use to be very compassionate about the African/south African plight. But since I tried to watch a bit of the world cup, I started hoping for an other genocide.

Many TV broadcasters already have effective filters added to their audio signal, which reduces the noise quite a lot.
In fact, today I could here the ball during a goal kick.

They should let the playing countries decide whether they want to hear vuvuzela's or the cheering of their fans.

They spread germs and can cause hearing damage when enough of them are blown at once in an area like a stadium.

I'd ban them for health reasons.

I don't see what this has anything to do with anything... But to answer your question. No, but there are some exceptions.

It has a lot to do with it. Could you imagine a stage full of Digerdoes(spl)? It'd be just as obniouxus, and aussies being the fine people they are really just don't want to annoy themselves.

It's a constant, annoying drone yes, but it doesn't deserve the mass debates and news articles it gets. Get over it.
