Do you believe Iran is planning to make nuclear weapons?
I'm just curious what people think about this here
Based on the evidence, realistically, Iran couldn't have nuclear weapons for years.
The US government condemns them for enriching uranium.
Nuclear power plants require enrichment. They require 5-15% enrichment in fact.
Nuclear weapons require 90+% enrichment.
Need I remind what country has the most nuclear weapons in the world.
Need I remind that that country has threatened the use of nukes against a country that is taking up the same procedures for nuclear power modernization as Brazil, France, etc. there is a long list .

Do you believe it's right for the us to call this a crisis and make such threats that would affect all people globally?
Or is it simply that Bush wants Iranian oil because Iran is the largest supplier of OIL to China, the fastest growing economy? Is it that the american government is entirely scared shitless of everyone and everything? This is just a country trying to modernize. US allowed the Saudis to do it, and Egypt did it. The only difference between those countries and iran is that they would rather just take Iran for the oil. There will be no weapons. This is an unfathomable double standard that the US government presents the rest of the world. The US supplied Israel's nuclear weapons development. They should therefore expect other countries to become at least uncomfortable in the area. If you were the president of Iran, what would you do?
