When it comes to horror games PBP is absolutely the best I've played thus far. It was collecting dust for over an year in my room until just recently I started playing it. Physics motor in this game is beautiful, atmosphere is fantastic and I like the fact that you don't have weapons. Facing some zombie bombies means that you need to run and hide instead of the quite ordinary blow-the-shit-out-of-everything action.
This game is way too underrated and overlooked in its genre. Then again PBP's marketing boys pulled a nice trick, they took the money but didn't market the game.
And to answer your karma, UT99 had a singleplayer campaign, that let you play through all modes and maps against teams of bots that got more challenging and peaked in the final boss fight against Xan Kriegor, the boss of the Liandri Mining Corporation
New L4D2 campaign updated via steam just now (Dont scroll down further than the two first if you don't want spoilers! PILLZ HERE! (Amazed that Louis is still on the bridge) Spoiler incoming All in PNG for viewing pleasure...

Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
This 5th installment of Splinter Cell is probably the best, and most difficult, one yet. New gadgets and more weapons as well as Sam's hot daughter make a really good game.
