Speaking of 500, I'm pretty leet myself.

Disqualified for PNG.
Has to be against a stranger in a random, populated server. I'm changing the rules, otherwise people could just go "Hey wanna join an empty server and have a sniper duel at 500m?" cause then there'd be a guaranteed 500m'rmtb0minime wrote:
I noticed that it says my shot was staged. That would imply that my target was standing still waiting for me to hit him. That was not the case. Yes, it was a sniper duel, but we weren't sitting there waiting for the person to hit us. NOT STAGED tyvm.

The difference is you're both set up at 500M. It's a guaranteed kill for at least one of you. 500M shots don't come that often in public matches.mtb0minime wrote:
What's the difference if it's against a random pub kid or someone on your friends list? In fact, I would say that it takes more skill to hit someone in a 1v1 sniper duel since you both know what to expect. Sniping idiots looking the other way who don't notice you isn't all that challenging.
Idiots looking the other way tend to move whenever you zero in on them tbhmtb0minime wrote:

I disagree since (as finray said) you are both doing it untill one of you succeed... unlike pubs where the vic would most often leave your line of sight...mtb0minime wrote:
Alright fine, I could settle with them being equal. The advantage of being set up at a 500-point-worthy distance is counteracted by the target knowing someone's trying to snipe specifically him. The advantage of sniping a tard sitting perfectly still and not looking at you is counteracted by trying to get the distance of a 500-point shot.
And do tell me how often you find a pub sniper from 500m away?mtb0minime wrote:
You kidding me? Sniping a pub sniper... they just sit there. Even if you miss and they hear the shot go by, they still just sit there and not move. You get to keep trying over and over and they don't move at all.
In a duel, the other person is constantly moving and doing evasive maneuvers.

Be a tard and camp in the back the entire time and not do shit for your team and hope that they're competent enough to move up without your help.

You pulled off a better shot and got more points than me so I'm either going to disqualify you or put you in a separate category
Only thing missing is that they are not PNG xDmtb0minime wrote:

Hope you apologized to your team for losing them the round afterwards
