Im the guy in mid-air. This was back in 2006, playing the grand final IIRC.
On the New Zealand tour with school, acting like a retard.
Got injured during the game after the photo above was taken. Commandeered the camera, and took this.
And this. Perfect innit?
Still in NZ. Clearly amused at something.
En Zed.
Was at a rugby 10s comp held during holidays. Hadnt shaved.
There arent that many actual photos of me during games, just me fucking around and shit like that.

Went up to Whistler for my birthday yesterday, this is taken at Flat Cliffs in Khybers:
Lots of pow the last week.

Nice work Sick Nic! Where'd you jump from, the top of that pillow or the gulley next to it?
Ty, I sent it off the top of the pillow, a bunch of people already hit the gulley so I wasnt going near that. If you look at the left side, you can gap over those two small trees and out over that large branch, Its pretty big that way. A friend did that a couple years back, and I was gonna hit it but I jacked my knee a bit a couple days before, so I didnt want a season ender.ghettoperson wrote:

Looks like you are sprawled out over the rock. I like your style.Nic wrote:

I'll never land a Coleman slide with my übersoft wheels. Need harder wheels, a longer deck and more balls.
Practice, need more practice. But now my legs be hurtin'.

I need around tree fiddy.
^ Not sure what was going on there but it looked cool! Is that a longboard?
It is. Yeah, I figured I'd take a camera with me to see for myself what I'm doing wrong when attempting to go sideways. Everyone tells me my wheels are too soft but I've been telling them I'll try anyway. I'm starting to think they're right. They're like chewing gum, you can stop on them by doing a 180 heelside slide, but that's about it. No sliding tricks on those wheels, no sir.Microwave wrote:

But yeah, after 24 tries just a few hours ago I'm lé tired in lé legs.

Just got these videos from about an hour ago!
A lot bigger and scarier than they look!!
A major step forward for me and my riding, took quite a lot of balls to finally do this line.

Fair play dude, looking nice and flowy! I'm fucking shit at jumping, big stuff scares me.
I was too, I ride past these on my 'normal' rides with my friend and I'm always thinking, mannn, I wish I could do stuff like that. Saw this guy randomly who went to my school and he told me he built them so I went down with him today and I was like... shit, there's no way I can do this but after physicing myself out I did them! The first one (that you can't really see) has a pretty steep take off and landing, which is new to me. The 2nd one is really high and scary! And the last one is just a massive 13ft gap!
I still can't believe I did them in the end!
Felt awesome, so so good!

I'm riding this weekend so hopefully I'll get my shred on! Hitting up Redhill down near Gloucester next weekend as well, so maybe I'll get the whole big jumps thing down.
One from today:
I hate how photos make everything look gay and flat. And slow.

With the pictures, it's all about the angle, get whoever is taking the photo to be lower down, right on the ground, with the camera point more up.
Also if you pan the camera with the rider whilst taking the photo it blurrs the background, keeping you in focus which gives a good sense of speed.
Yeah, I got some decent photos of my mate where he looks rad and fast, but he doesn't really know what he's doing.
I'm gradually getting better.
Me at 1:02, doing my first slides on a new board, teh Loaded Tan Tien. The next day, the slides were much speedier. Oh yeah.
Here's me one day later:

A couple of cloudy days in Whistler dicking around with my buddies new GoPro HD, trying some new angles (Great camera just sos you knows). Nothing serious just some mellow blue park laps. I'm the last guy up btw:

Nice, I love GoPro's, the quality of the footage is a definite step up from everything else out there. You do still need good lighting though to really make it look good though.

Yeah, I was blown away by the color quality, and 60 fps at 720p, especially for that price tag. I expect big things from these as soon as you can change lenses on them.ghettoperson wrote:
