I know lots of people are already familiar with these terms, and some are super obvious, but to those who aren’t familiar with them these are the definitions of some slang or technical terms used in Call of Duty and other ww2 games.

Cod1,2,3 and 5 Glossary:
Jerry: German   
Tony: Italian   
Kite: Plane   
Gold, Sword, Juno, Utah, Omaha: Beaches   
Yank: American
Pillbox: Bunker   
Brecourt: German Artillery Position   
Caen: French Town   
Willy: A jeep   
Half-Track: A tractor in the back with treads, a truck in the front with wheels.
Lancaster: Heavy Canadian Bomber   
Tiger: Panzer V super heavy German Tank   
Panzer: Heavily armored tank   
Hawker Hurricane: British Fighter plane   
Churchill: British prime minister/tank named after him
Pathfinder: Paratrooper who sets a beacon to alert his squad where to land   
Mauser, Gewehr, MP, STG etc.: German Guns   
Flak: An Anti-Aircraft gun with a powerful shot   
Chute: Parachute   
Mills Bomb: British high explosion Grenade
Stielhandgranate: German Fragmentation stick Grenade   
Ivans: Russians   
Togo: Japanese   
Tommygun: Thompson M1a1 SMG   
Sten, Bren: British SMG and LMG
PIAT, Bazooka: British and American anti-Tank rockets   
Lee-Enfield, M1 Garand, Springfield, M1 Carbine: British and American rifles.   
SMG: Sub-machine gun   
LMG: Light Machine Gun   
Bayonet: A long knife mounted on the end of a rifle or LMG
Operation Overlord: Codename for the d-day Landing   
Normandy: Large region in France   
Milk Run: Bombing run   
Brass: The high command   
Salerno: Italian west coast city state.

Plus, tbh only idiots don't know what those terms mean. I mentioned the wiki bage in one of his other threads (i can't remember which, there's been far too many).

If anyone else just started doing this they'd have been banned after the 3rd thread.

Brecourt: German Artillery Position
Refers actually to Brecourt Manor, not Brecourt itself (at Sottevast).

Panzer: Heavily armored tank   
No, Panzer is just German for "tank" (in a war context) - used by Allies to indicate a German tank.  Although there were tanks named Panzers, which progressed to heavier armour, Panzers were tanks, heavily armoured or not.  Just tanks.

Chute: Parachute
I can't work out whether you think everyone's retarded, or it took a while to make that connection.

Weapons, German or Allied
Really, these should be self-explanatory for anyone playing the game and not spectating.  If you look at a weapon, it shows you the picture, the name and the instruction to press F to pick it up.  We don't need to be told that the picture is actually the gun described.
