Get BC2 for? I have a PS3 and a PC that's more than capable of running it but I'm still undecided as to whether or not I should get it for PS3 or PC.

PC specs? If they're less than quad/4GB/GTX260 or 5770 then get it on PS3.
c2d e8400, 4gb, and a 4870 runs it just fine.Finray wrote:

Yeah I've heard they made loads of optimizations for the release regarding dual cores, and the E8400 is very powerful. I suppose anything less than an E6600 would be the no-go zone. Hence why I'm not buying it until I upgrade.
Fyi, the 5770 is fits in right between 4870 and 4890.

If you prefer a mouse and keyboard for FPS then go with the PC version. I am running an E7500/ (4) 3 GB G.Skill PC2-6400/ BFG 9800GTOC and had very little problems with the game during the beta. Course that was with 1440x900 on medium
well ive got a 9800GTX+ with 4 gigs of RAM and an E7400 dual core at 2.80GHz.....btw im also running on a 1280x1024 monitor so the resolution wont be that large.
Go PC.

This. Customizable graphics, text chat and mouse control is so worth it.UK|Hooligan wrote:

The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
even after dropping $90 on a fragnstein controller for my ps3, i had to buy this on PC just because i didn't want to feel like i completely cheated on BF2. I'm running an amd quad with evga gts250 and have 1680x1050 on my 46" samsung and i am more than happy with the eye candy. the game looks downright jaw dropping in my book! the visuals and sound alone make this game worth the $50.
yeah i just picked it up today on PC so hopefully its worth it!

i have a e8400 but i have a 8500gt and 2gb ram, i would buy a better video card and more ram but i really dont want to waste my money since i'll be moving away and i'm buying a laptop for me to go to college with
PC.
Looks better, the player base isn't all little kids, server browser, higher max players, more players playing...

btw: PC currently has more people playing and are in game servers than both the consoles.
PC - to many reasons for such, don't be gimped and play a console.
Ptfo
Not to mention if you get it on console you'll become a console noob and get owned when you go back to PC
3rd day in a row pc servers are down
dont do it!
dont do it!
yeah thats getting kind of annoying but i get little windows where I can play so it's all good...I think it's just the rush of people trying to play and the servers are saying no thanks. Hopefully it'll get ironed out in a few daysSealXo wrote:

I've also been thinking about this.
Ive played it on Xbox360, and found it to be suprisingly good for an FPS (on a console). Although the autoaim thing is pretty much given hax, I kinda liked it. I liked the controls, and how the game played. If I get it on PS3, my friends and I can play together. However if I get it on PC, well, you get the idea. Is the game experience on PS3 the same as the 360? I know the whole rant about 'ZOMG FPS GAEMZ DUN BELONG ON CONSOLE U NUB BLAH BLAH', but this game was fairly decent.
I tried to get my brother to lend me his copy of BC2 on PC, but being a fat slob he is, he wont let me borrow his game (despite me basically giving him CoD4) and thus cannot decide if PC or PS3 is the way to go.
