Soooo...how much (if anything...) will get changed between what was seen in the final beta and the released product? Anyone know?
Of all the complaints I had, the biggest was netcode. I finally got my settings to look decent and give good FPS (Q6600 @ 3.1 ghz, 4 gb RAM, GTX 260 Black Edition), but there still seemed to be choppily-moving infantry and vehicles in intense action, even when the game itself was running smoothly. I have only played on servers with less than 60 ping, and I have over 10 mb of bandwidth, so I'm guessing the netcode just needs a little work.
The other is lack of joystick support - hopefully, my Thrustmaster will be supported in the final game. I really don't want to pick up mouse and keyboard flying after 500 hours of flying helicopters via joystick in BF2...
All of the other things - lame melee and grenade tossing mechanisms, etc. - are easily overlooked given the amount of fun to be had in the game!
