Good times...good times...
Battle of Britain ftw.

No mod tools at release, thought it should be noted that BF2 didn't have mod tools on release either.RTHKI wrote:

I hope they mean it wont have any yet. BF3 better have mod tools.
They only released mod tools for bf2 do to demand. If we demand mod tools for BC2 they might just decide to create them for us if they aren't so stingy about their engine.Doctor Strangelove wrote:

Hopefully tools will be out eventually.

I miss 1942 also. Too bad I have about 30 unplayed games to spend time in.GR34 wrote:
ok guys how about we all re install this game patch to 1.61 and play some midway island!! i miss 1942 so much mainly the naval battles.. they really need to remake this game with at the very minimum 2142 graphics.. hope fuly it will be ramade with dx 10 and look amazing but we will till be able to drive thows dam subs and ships!
The difference is BF3 should be a dedicated PC game like BF2. Not some straight console port with better graphics like BC2. But the more people buy BC2 for PC, the more suitable EA will find it to make lazy cross-platform games like that instead of another legend like BF2 was. Just my 2¢ruisleipa wrote:

1942 rocks btw, I spent sooo many hours on that game...which is why I is teh roxxor at BF2 lol
I do believe that there also exists some unofficial mod adding all the rest that was missing in the official one.unnamednewbie13 wrote:
A bit of BF1942 was brought into BFV as the Official WW2 Mod (free, by the way).
Have you played BC2 on PC? It isnt your typical console shooter, it feels pretty PC-ish._j5689_ wrote:

Beyond Modern Combat 1 for the XBox 1, I always hated the feel of Battlefield games on the 360.
Yeah, I did try it, and it was okay but it gets monotonous after a while. Then again I don't really like that whole goldrush or whatever the fuck type of game type it is anyway in the beta. I prefer just regular old BF2 flag stuff. I know that's going to be in the full game but I have a feeling I won't be able to try it out to see if it's still good unless I buy the game.TimmmmaaaaH wrote:

I´m pretty sure there´s supposed to be a demo, just like for 360._j5689_ wrote:
