For my English homework I have to do an investigation into language

- Answer this from your own experiences please.
- By correcting language, I mean mispronounciations or being lazy with words (like not saying the 't' in 'water' for example).

I can't imagine anyone outside of selected areas of the UK having a problem with the 't' in water :p

Also, don't worry about failing english in school. If your curriculum is anything like ours then it is entirely bullshit and has absolutely no relation to your ability to speak/comprehend the language. I failed highschool english and I now have a Diploma in IT, BSc Computer Science and I'm currently studying BEng Mechatronics Engineering. It didn't hinder me much.
