Everyone here wanks over valve/source games, only the Half life series was good. The rest were shit. Portal was ok, maybe. I never enjoyed all the Counter Strike/Team Fortress shit

tf2 was/is under-rated... such a small playerbase and niche-market compared to other games, but such a fervent community!
for me personally, now in 2010... the most over-rated game is probably world of warcraft. was a great game 5 years ago. now it's... god knows, mystifyingly still popular.

That game is perfect. Yes, it's short, but so what. It had perfect pacing, excellent storytelling, great humor, I could go on and on. Unlike many of today's games, Portal did not overstay its welcome. You should praise them for being willing to keep it a short and sweet experience instead of trying to draw it out as long as possible.
Bioshock; played it, liked it, knew it was good, but not that good, like the second coming of Christ or something
