Can we get some reviews from some PS3 users? Specifically multiplayer.
it'll be much the same as pc/xbox, marine... i dont think a game has ever been ported like this before. practically a carbon copy. the only thing you cant ascertain is the quality of playstation's online service. hope you get some words of wisdom on that

yeah the PSN is free so it's better than xbox by default.
Can you speak in squads/teams or is it just everyone yapping?
ps3 online is fine. I honestly don't know about the mics. I just played it at a friends but PSN works fine, matches are quick, and waiting for a new match to begin doesn't take too long either.
quick as in what? 10 minutes?NateWiese wrote:

yeah.
Somewhere around 7-12 minutes.
The helicopters are still a pain in the ass, but easy enough to avoid.
The predator missiles are pretty badass.

Essentially the same, except everyone's still a douche but a couple years older.
They should really print on the back "This game best enjoyed with VOIP disabled."

I didn't like playing on the PS3, i gave it around 4/5 hours actual gameplay and i just didn't progress with the controller at all. I just can't play an FPS without mouse and keyboard. Apart from that, i can't see any real disadvantage to playing on either platform (dedicated server discussion apart).
To me it sounds like all players with mics are yapping so everyone can hear it ...
Gameplay both offline and online seems to be a carbon copy of the first game, different story and other maps but really very much like Cod4 ...
It looks and sounds very good though ...

Wait behind the line ..............................................................

The Ac130 on the other hand is just f..u..cking AWESOME!
Did you check IGN? lol, I love how they have gotten into the groove of just doing copy paste reviews for different platforms now, its cute. Just buy the fucking game marine. Oh, almost forgot. Get it on PC at least you chode-bucket. Then we can play together

MP is great, mainly because I kick ass in most games. No skill is required. Just point your weapon at someone, hold R1 for a few seconds and have 100+ points. To be honest, most people online on the PS3 suck ass and are complete dumb fucks. At least it isn't like Xbox Live where you hear kids singing over the microhpones since they get thier microphones free with the console.

Every review is going to praise the game and it's going to get high marks. I guess it is really down to your choice. But it looks the same as CoD4 but with some tweaks and refinements made to online and a new campaign, which can only be a good thing surely?

Basically it is this:
PS3/360 version = good. PC = bad.
MP I am referring to. The dedicated servers, or lack thereof, is a major issue for some people.

PS3+360 = Business as usual.
PC = Business as usual minus dedicated servers. = alright.
Well, you get the occasional 11 year old but one click and they're muted.Kez wrote:
