It got boring for me after a while. Envoys crying about needing more carpets every other minute, and me quickly having to populate some island just to deal with their sudden and irritating need. What the fuck do you do with your carpets that you need 5 tons of them delivered per express cargoship several times a day?
Yeah pretty good little game that just finished the campaign off the other day. And yeah it is one of those games that just eats up the time, and you don't realise just how long you have been playing it, despite the guy telling you take a break when it autosaves

I played the campagin a bit, wasn't too impressed. I'm sure the sandbox mode will be better though.
It somehow gives me great satisfaction to reach Noblemen mode in my city, needing trade routes with at least 2 other islands to keep my main city supplied, having small settlements on the islands around providing resources.
Also I love designing my cities, although the selection of buildings are rather limited.
Hopefully this game will get some decent mods.

how do i colonise other islands?
You need 10 woods and 5 tools IIRC, put them on a ship (might need to be your flagship) and press the upgrade button (the one on top of the ship menu thingy, bottom right corner) to build a warehouse on the uninhabited island.krazed wrote:

It's a bit less resources. You also have to be pretty close to an island. Make sure you don't plant on a friendly island, you lose quite a bit of rep.krazed wrote:
