A friend just told me over MSN about the gig at Milton Keynes bowl for this date. Prodigy headlining, with support from Pendulum, Chase and Status and Enter Shikari.
I went downstairs to tell my dad, who loves Pendulum, and is a long time fan of The Prodigy, me clearly wanting to go, but knowing that the chances of having the money to was incredibly slim. 2 minutes later he came upstairs with his card in hand, asking to bring up the ticket page. I sat there for a good 30 seconds thinking he was taking the piss. He booked 3 tickets, one for me, one for himself and one for my sister. It's counted as my sister and my birthday presents. Gonna be epic

EDIT- There is still tickets. Is anyone else going?

I'm still excited about it. Don't like Pendulum's stuff, but I know they're gonna put on a pretty good live show. There is a lot more people playing now including Gallows, who I've wanted to see since I first heard them about 4 years ago. David Rodigan will be there too, I don't know alot about him, but I hear he is pretty good. And of course, Prodigy will (hopefully) be amazing

That was a hectic day, my legs are so tired still and it's the day after. My throat is killing from all the dust kicked up and my ears are ringing a bit.
A+ would do it again in a heartbeat.

Chase and Status had some massive pits, but I think I enjoyed Pendulum the most tbh, I was in a better place than for C&S and I was too tired by the time Prodigy came on, and I was right under one of the speaker stacks so a lot of the basslines just sounded like noise, Poison was one of the worst

Chase and Status were amazing imo. Really really enjoyed it, lost both my shoes due to being on the outskirts of a pit and not even knowing til it kicked off. Thought I was gonna die at one point but got em both back! Pendulum were good, exactly what I expected from them. The whole atmosphere for Prodigy was insane though. Especially when the huge lights would like flash on and if you looked back you could see literally all 65,000 people dancing.

fuck knows why people want to mosh to electronic music - it's fucking repugnant behaviour, imo. i guess that's just what happens when you get a generation of teenagers raised on metal and rock music who suddenly find drum and bass to be really 'cool', too. dancing and having a good time at a massive event is amazing... the feeling of being in a huge crowd... the noise and the lights... the good vibes.... moshing is just plain fucking retarded.

Yeh tbh I have never quite understood the moshing to dnb I don't take part in it cause a) I'm not built for that shit, and b)It should be left at metal gigs. I know you don't like Hospital too much Zeek, but I'm going to Hospitality Brixton in Sept. and if it's anything like what the atmosphere was for prodigy I know I'm gonna love it. I'm gonna love it anyway though cause Andy C is playing <3

i saw andy c in cheltenham and some people tried to mosh to it... they were very quickly pushed to the back and kept out. pricks.

normally always aged 13-19 and normally always 'cool kids'. i.e. massive dicks.
