I think Dubstep sounds awesome, but it is way to slow to even think about dancing too.

I've never actually heard dubstep be played at a rave before. Just seems way to fucking slow for me. But I'm more into the hardcore and Hardstyle then I am electro and the other close variants anyways.
I've been to a few Happy Hardcore raves in the states, and I've never seen so many people dance that hard ever.

dubstep isnt related to electro. at all.
dubstep is music that is solely MEANT to be played at a club-level. at bedroom volume/setting, it sucks, period.
happy hardcore is the creatively bankrupt smut of the electronic world.
@lava: tunes are pretty good, if a little predictable. dubstep is done to death at the moment. gotta be different! i recommend Joy Orbison.

i prefer house parties. dubstep seems to be dichotomized in clubs at the moment; half the crowd are too cool for the 'club bangers', the other half still dont know what the fuck dubstep is, and dont 'get' it. i prefer intimate atmospheres. i wish the local clubs here had more of a clue about dub-wub!lavadisk wrote:

I don't mean you lavadisk, but I just hate how anyone who gets their hands on a PC music mixer and creates some shitty sounds thinks they're some deep DJ.
Yeah dude.. I know what you mean. mixes have gotten really easy to make without any knowledge on the genre. It's alright because the tendency for good dj's to get popular is still present. Listening to a bad mix on the other hand is like looking at a bad website that somebody put no time into.
