I know people think it is 50/50 and that is fine. We also know other countries have their hat in the ring. But, this is simple. Choose one that YOU think is the most responsible of the two.

Well to be honest looking at it from the point of view of both Israelis and Palestinians, you can see why both of them do what they do. The only difference is that Israel was given much more external support from Allies than Palestinians were from their Allies.
Israel usually fought harder even when they were attacked. The Arabs/Muslims didn't do enough to prevent Israel being in the position it is in today, they can only blame themselves.

Israel* is more at fault for starting it, Palestine is more at fault for not ending it.
Regardless of whether it is morally correct for Israel to exist or not, the fact is now that they have distinct borders, an internationally-backed government with state of the art technology, and a will to survive. At that point Palestine has three options:
1) learn to coexist
2) gain tactical superiority
3) submit a remotely reasonable relocation alternative, if nothing else to stem the international support for Israel by forcing them to deny a clearly viable relocation option.
2 is out of the question, 1 is difficult, but I don't really understand why there has been no particular attempt at 3.
The people with the big sticks fucked up in the creation of Israel in the first place, but you don't fight the people with big sticks with your puny sticks. You have to be the bigger man to get at them effectively.
*really, the powers that created Israel are at fault for thinking they had the power to take the land to create Israel in the first place, that isn't really the fault of Israel per se.
