So waiting for a patch or 2 might be a good thing?

Yeah, hardcore can be a little bitch, even though it´s the most funnest mode.
But no savepoint at all is a bit shitty. At least give hardcore 1 free savegame so you can use it
let´s say in the middle of a mission or whatever.
Hitman had a much better solution. The harder the difficulty, the less savegames you get.
I just started the second mission moved through primary 1st and secondary 1st and 2nd plus bonus targets
Approached primary 2nd and caught a stray bullet to the head.
All over again from the start, really, really frustrating.
One the other hand... it´s probably called "hardcore" for a reason.

Nope, damn. I went looking for some crates, but didn't find any .HellHead wrote:
You know there is a CQC M4 and a marksman M4 down by the beach when you start off, right ?

I'm torn on this game. On normal difficulty, I am annoyed by the fact that it can take 4-5 shots to kill an enemy. Is this any different on hardcore mode?
Are you serious? Even on hardcore, it can take 5 hits to kill an enemy?Miggle wrote:

Well fuck you, Dragon Rising. Fuck you.
I demand to kill enemies with 1, or at most 2 hits, depending on hit location. None of this "semi-realism" bullcrap.
Back to ArmaII it is then, I guess
I know right. Well, maybe back to ArmaI then. Or even Operation Flashpoint 1.Doctor Strangelove wrote:

Is it right that the difficulty doesn't so much decide "difficulty" (i.e. how accurate/smart the enemies are) but just how much help the game gives you?
OFP1 never guaranteed a one-shot kill. If you hit someone in the head, they will go down.LaidBackNinja wrote:

I can't help but get the feeling that OF2 has been 'consolified'... it feels so much more arcade than its predecessor.
And you could turn your head...M.O.A.B wrote:
