Okay so I got a new 24" monitor (1920x1200) to replace my 20" (1680x1050) monitor. Everything works fine with the new monitor except for BF2. When I log in it is like I am zoomed into the top left quarter of the screen. If I alt-f4 out Windows is like this too. Display Manager shows that I am still at 1920x1200 and so does the monitor. I have to restart the computer to get it back to normal.
Then I delete my profile for BF2 in My Documents, start BF2, retrieve my account, and set the resolution to 1920x1200. Everything works fine and the game is great. The next time I launch the game I am back to the problem.
Any suggestions?
