Is there a way to disable the Windows 7 superbar? I just want the taskbar to work like it it did in all previous windows versions. Right click, Properties, then click the "Use Small Icons" and there's also another setting to "never group similar task bar buttons", or something similar to it option there too.max wrote:

already done that. Doesn't get rid of the annoying right click. I want superbar dead, gone for good.

With an extra 6px of vertical space, look at all the info I can display under gnome
right click --> view
W7 seems to waste space everywhere for no good reason while hiding all the powerful stuff under some keyboard shortcut. Shift - right click for the taskbar, press alt to get the standard file, edit, etc.
Windows 7 = OSX. Pretty, but slow and annoying to work with
