Hey james, with any luck Scan.co.uk should have them in stock on the 8th I think. They fucking better anyway, been waiting over a week for it already, the last stock date for it (30th) was missed and now they say the 8th instead.

I tried some of the sites you linked before - the 'insight uk' one was the only one I hadn't looked at so I'm ringing them on Monday to ask because they order on request.

Ok so after a while with some crazy German sites I've just worked out it would be ~ €190 + ~€30 for shipping to the UK. Which works out at about £200. They're retailing for around £170-£180 in the UK at the moment so not really worth it.

I'm asking because my friend just bought the 9800gt and he can't get it to work for some reason. I was wondering if it would be worth it to exchange mine with his? if they are about the same I'm thinking of doing it since his is brand new.

The departments of our University of Technology had some info stuff today. I think I'll take microprocessor design or verification engineering as main subject, maybe digital chip design as minor if thats possible.

CUDA engineering is too much maths tbh.

I would only need to get one 4770, I have an extra one in my bros comp that I could easily switch with my 4850. It would be an upgrade for him and for $110 it would be worthwhile for me (getting a new mobo either way).

I hadn't seen a date on the 5750 release so it all depends on when they come out vs how soon I upgrade. Either way I need a new mobo and being able to xfire would be nice for the future.
