You know what, I'm think I'm going to save the admins all the trouble they're going to for this and just delete this entire topic. I figured an example of how revolvers could compete with semi-automatic weapons would be good enough for serious talk, but is instead moved to the completely random stuff forum. Or I might keep it around as an example of a bunnyhopping thread.

If someone posted this link weeks ago, great. It's probably buried under heaps of "I kot padder1!1" posts.

I have seen this before.

It is pretty cool stuff.  The problem is that I can fire just about that fast with my semi-auto pistol and I don't have any where near the amount of practice and training that man does with his pistol.  And he isn't even the fastest there is.

I saw a demo by a guy that when he empties a revolver it sounds like 2 shots.  Bang, Bang and 6 shots are down range and into a target.  that is fast.

You can fire a semi-auto fast, sure. But how about with any accuracy?

Personally, I recommend a nice little hammerless .38 that can be fired from a coat pocket without being drawn. I don't like lots of moving parts if I need an element of suprise.

Then again, the whole revolver vs semi-auto thing is a bit of an immortal grudge match. I use and own both.

I'm gonna try out a revolver this weekend at the shooting range...see how they compare with semi-auto pistols.  Huzzah for Ruger Redhawks!

Just make sure you brace for the kick.  I had a scar from the hammer and scope "kiss" for three weeks.

Haha, will do.  I felt no kick at all with the 9mm USP, but I'm sure a .45 will have some impact!

Your forum 'rank' is fitting, noob.
