great game, i've been playing pretty heavily the past couple days. i would even go as far as saying it's as good as supreme commander, and definitely better than C&C. tons of units and lots of different ways to win, it's not just a race for super weapons. anyone else play?

Looks very much like C&C, Dark Reign, etc. But I hadn't heard of it til now. Will look into it, thanks.

yeah i highly recommend for those who like RTS games. my current favorite tactic is deploying overwhelming infantry forces. the US army faction has an awesome selection of infy units, including delta force troops that make short work of enemy controlled building. build 20 blackhawks, put 8 troops in each one, and a couple apaches for escort. 20 hawks + 160 troops + 2 apaches =

I own this but never completed direct action. I feel guilty about it because it was the first RTS I enjoyed before C&C3 came out since RA2.
