BF2S Forums FIFA 10 [Demo]

Gimmicky? It changes the whole outlook of the game. It's not about dribble + pass + move instead of just pass + move + attempt to dribble and fail. It's better than 09, it will have Live Season and improved online play. Good enough reasons to purchase.

If anyone's thinking about pirating this for the PC, don't bother. Shit sucks.

They've done the same thing this year as they did last year- completely gutted the pc version. The gameplay is dreadful comapred to the console versions.

Mate I agree. I do hope that the demo is not the completed version. Because I always buy PES cos I like the gamestyle even if it hasnt changed in years. However I do hope and pray that they dont release the game like the demo, I hope its not true.

Nah Teek, it's the completed version. Without a doubt. There will be a few tweak, I'm sure, but it's getting released at the same time as FIFA, so I am not hoping for anything spectacular.

PES was fantastic until 08. I never bought a FIFA game before 09 and know that it was ten times worse than PES 2 years ago. Now the tables have turned and EA Sports have seriously upped their game. I don't think PES will be able to develop anything as good as FIFA until they fire the development team. What surprises me, is that PES thought there could be no improvements to the game, so they left it like so and made pathetic graphical improvements and stupid additions, whereas FIFA never gave up and thought "To hell with all the shit we made, lets start from scratch and make something like real football". They managed it, whilst PES are still stuck on PES6, easily the best version of the game.

I find it ironic how PES fanboys used to say PES was better cos it was more realistic, and now FIFA is more realistic they say PES is better cos its more arcadey.

I played PES2006 (I think) it was not football. All it is is give the ball to the ridiclously good player on the team, then run using the dpad and change direction at right angles until you get to the goal. Oh and the AI cheats like fuck! Pro evo just gets worse and worse. Especially last years effort. Yet again there was no real football to it. AND the sound effects were farsical. It sounded like the players were kicking a balloon as they dribble along, the first touch is horribble and the keepers are wack. I played the demo of FIFA 09 and it WAS football. If 10 improves on it, I'll cream my pants

I've always been a PES fanboy. Owned every game since it's release, but I bow down to FIFA now and will always buy their shit, unless PES11 changes everything and makes it better.

It's down to a matter of opinion, but Fifa 06, 07, 08 etc were utter shit in comparison to PES, but now the tables have turned. And yes, FIFA10 has improved on it.
