Yeah definitely, especially if you do it co-op. The exploration parts are pretty cool and give the proper sense of loneliness and suspense where you can actually plan on how (or if) to attack. The actual missions, on the other hand, are pretty fast-paced and linear, yet fun. Imo, it is a good mix of old with new. It certainly feels familiar, but it isn't a copy and paste from the old halo games: it feels pretty unique (for a halo game). The game shouldn't be 60 bucks though, it should really be around 40. Basically,
if you only play halo for vs. multiplayer - skip this
if you play halo mostly for campaign/co-op modes (like me) - buy
if you liked halo 1 and 2s storyline but hated halo 3s - buy
if you're on the fence - let the price go down a bit. It's a very good game (imo) but it should be cheaper
