OK, I'm setting up a BF2 server. I've done this before (a loooooong time ago) and didn't have any problems. I of course had to install .net framework 1.1, but do I really need to roll back to SP1. In this day and age I can't see that there isn't a newer BF2CC that will run in SP3. What do I have to do?
I'm guessing you're running in Win XP. As long as you do an install of .net Framework 1.1, you should be fine. Then open your CC and put in the info your server provider gave you. The first few times you run the program, you might get some kind of error popup, but just click OK and CC will still run. Most server owners/renters use CC in Daemon mode.
